As part of its continuous education programs targeted at bankruptcy trustees and experts, the Bankruptcy Commission “Eisar" organized a virtual workshop titled "Trustee Supervision of Debtor Management in Financial Restructuring Proceedings" on Wednesday, 14 Dhul-Qi'dah 1445 AH, corresponding to May 22, 2024.

The Bankruptcy Commission “Eisar" aims, through this workshop clarify the role of the trustee in financial restructuring proceedings, detailing the trustee's powers, protective measures, and supervision of plan implementation. Additionally, the workshop covered the regulations surrounding obtaining financing and discussed the challenges trustees face when supervising debtor activities.

The workshop lasted for two hours and was attended by 307 participants, including trustees, experts, and professionals practicing in fields related to bankruptcy law. The workshop concluded with a discussion of inquiries raised by the attendees and their subsequent responses.
