In collaboration with the National Competitiveness Center and the Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Justice, the Bankruptcy Commission “Eisar" organized a workshop at the United Nations headquarters in Vienna titled "Legislative and Judicial Reforms in Saudi Arabia - A Bankruptcy Law Model." The event took place on Tuesday, December12, 2023.

The workshop aims to strengthen partnerships with relevant international organizations, particularly the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL). It seeks to showcase the efforts of Saudi Arabia and initiatives in commercial and economic domains, emphasizing the implementation of the bankruptcy law and exchanging experiences in related applications.

Representatives from participating countries (+50) attended the workshop during the 63rd session of the UNCITRAL Working Group V on Insolvency Law.
