​​As part of continuous education programs for bankruptcy officeholders and experts, the Bankruptcy Commission held a virtual workshop titled " Priority Debts in Bankruptcy Law" on Wednesday, the 20th of Jamadah Alawal 1444, corresponding to the 14th of December 2022.

The workshop aims to clarify the importance of debt priority and its regulatory frame, as well as debt priority in bankruptcy procedures. The workshop also highlighted the concept of secured debts and the kinds of guarantees, as well as the distribution of sale proceeds among different class creditors.

The workshop was an hour and a half long and was concluded by discussing and answering the questions raised by the (184) attendees of officeholders, experts, and bankruptcy practitioners.
