The Bankruptcy Commission Holds a Virtual Workshop Titled “Best Ways to Face Challenges Arising from Lack of Cooperation of the Parties with the Officeholder”

​​​As part of the continuous education programs for bankruptcy officeholders and experts, the Bankruptcy Commission held a virtual workshop titled "Best Ways to Face Challenges Arising from Lack of Cooperation of the Parties with the Officeholder", on Sunday the 10th of Dhu'l-Qi'dah corresponding to 20th of June 2021.

The workshop addressed a number of subjects, including the reasons for the lack of cooperation from the parties involved in the bankruptcy procedure with the officeholder, how to study the claims while overcoming difficulties resulting from the lack of cooperation of the parties, determining the officeholder's powers when counting and inventorying assets, the means to force non-cooperating parties to cooperate, as well as identifying the indicators that show the willingness of the debtor to prepare a proposal, reviewing the road map for the operationalization of time frames.

The workshop concluded after answering many inquiries of the (100) attendees.
