Al-Rasheed is the Secretary General of the Bankruptcy Commission since the establishment phase, previously worked as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA). Successfully worked on establishing and setting the foundations of new initiatives in the Legal and Islamic Finance sectors. In addition to that, worked as an advisor for couple of consulting and law firms.
Al-Rasheed takes part in many roles, most notably, he is the vice-chairman of the Board of Shariah of the General Authority of Zakat and Tax (GAZT), a member of the Board of Directors of the Support and Liquidation Center, and was chairman of the Islamic Banking Committee of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA).
Al-Rasheed holds (MBA) at Cardiff University from United Kingdom, Master's degree from the High Judicial Institute, and Bachelor's degree of Sharia Law at Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, and Bachelor's of Information System at King Saudi University.
